A calm, comfortable house above Lake Balaton
Feels Like Home stands on the hillside among the vineyards of Badacsonyörs: a bright, friendly holiday home where the calm of a Balaton break and the comfort of home meet naturally. We shaped the house so that larger families and groups of friends can settle in comfortably — with room for shared plans, and space to retreat for some quiet too.
The spacious terrace, the living areas made for long meals together, the sauna and the wine cellar all set the scene for time that is restful and memorable at once. It's a lovable, thoughtfully arranged house where it's easy to slow down, be together and truly arrive.

The spaces
Several levels, all kinds of space
The layout of the house lets shared plans and quiet rest happen side by side. Across the different levels, everyone can find their own comfortable rhythm.
Cellar
This level holds a sauna, a shower room, a separate WC, a smaller bedroom and a wine cellar with a mood of its own. Ideal for evening conversations, watching the game or a more laid-back gathering apart from the rest.
Ground floor
The ground floor is the social heart of the house: living room, dining area, well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and the large terrace all connect into one easy, flowing whole.
Upstairs
The upstairs rooms are made for rest, which makes this part an especially good fit for families and groups of friends alike. The house comfortably sleeps 12–14 guests in total.
Parking: there is comfortable space for 5–6 cars in front of the house.

Spring
The terrace, the fresh air and the quiet setting feel especially good at this time of year. A perfect season for a calm recharge and for exploring the area.
Summer
Lake Balaton, the beach, long evenings, shared dinners and terrace time — the classic Balaton holiday in a comfortable, homely form.
Autumn
Harvest time and the wineries nearby make Badacsony especially inviting. The mood of the wine region is perhaps at its most intense in autumn.
Winter
Sauna, fireplace, quiet evenings and getaway weekends — in the colder months, the snug, intimate side of the house comes to the fore.
Balaton in summer, wine country in autumn, recharging in winter, calm and views in spring.

From road 71, turn onto Szőlő út at the Vánkos B&B. Passing the church on your left, continue along Orgona út, then take the first turning on the right.
From there the road leads straight on, uphill, all the way to the house. In front of the house there is comfortable parking for 5–6 cars.
